The joint delivery, set to commence on May 2 and extend through May 18, 2026, aims to ease the financial burden on more than 774,000 households in extreme poverty and vulnerability nationwide. With an investment surpassing 322 billion pesos, this cycle marks a milestone in the country's social equity strategy.

Beneficiaries have been prioritized based on specific vulnerability criteria, ensuring support reaches those most in need. These include households classified as extreme poor (Sisbén IV Group A), those with young children or individuals requiring permanent care, and indigenous communities, which will be validated by their own traditional authorities to respect cultural autonomy.

Single mothers remain a key focus, with payouts ranging from 300,000 to 500,000 pesos, contingent on family composition and compliance with health and education responsibilities.

Payments will be made through a cumulative scheme, allowing many recipients to receive both Renta Ciudadana and Devolución del IVA transfers in a single transaction. The payment operator, SuRed and SuperGIROS, will disperse funds through over 31,000 points of service across 1,108 municipalities in Colombia's 32 departments.

Prosperity Social emphasizes these programs are not just economic handouts, but a pact for social mobility. To maintain eligibility, beneficiaries must:
