Despite suffering a second consecutive defeat, Union Berlin's coach Marie-Louise Eta remains optimistic about her team's chances of avoiding relegation.

Eta's side lost 3-1 at RB Leipzig on Friday, following a 2-1 defeat to Wolfsburg in her Bundesliga debut last weekend.

With just three league matches remaining, Union trails 16th-placed FC St. Pauli by six points, having won only two of their last 16 games.

However, Eta is convinced her team can turn things around, beginning with Saturday's crucial encounter against bottom-placed Heidenheim.
