Weng edges diggins in thrilling finish at falun skiathlon
Heidi Weng of Norway claimed her first victory of the season in a thrilling finish at the Falun Skiathlon, edging out American Jessie Diggins by just 0.1 seconds.

In a race that came down to the wire, Weng, 34, crossed the line first with a time of 50:59.2, just a hair ahead of Diggins, who clocked 50:59.3. Frida Karlsson of Sweden finished third, 0.9 seconds behind the winner.
The top-five finishers were all within a second of each other, with Pia Fink of Germany taking fourth and Helen Hoffmann also of Germany rounding out the top five.
For Weng, the victory marked a triumphant return to form after a tough winter. She dedicated the win to her late father, who passed away in January.
