After congratulating Seixas on his impressive second-place finish, Pogacar dispatched a ominous warning to the rest of the peloton: 'We will keep working hard and try to win as much as possible in the coming years until he destroys everyone.'

Seixas, who was the only rider able to stay with Pogacar's blistering attack up the Côte de la Redoute, acknowledged that the Slovenian superstar is still improving and may reach even greater heights. 'It's obvious that he still lacks power, but we see what level he's on – it's extremely hard to follow him,' Seixas said. 'He's the greatest rider in history.'

Pogacar, who won his third consecutive La Doyenne title by a 45-second margin, praised Seixas for his impressive performance, even at just 19 years old. 'The fact that Paul is already racing at this high level at 19 motivates everyone else to keep working and improving,' Pogacar said.

While Pogacar's dominance at Liege-Bastogne-Liege is undeniable, the question remains whether the two wunderkinder will face each other again in the future, perhaps on the grand stage of the Tour de France.
