The Swabian club announced the separation of four players, adding to previous departures, signaling a strategic shift for the team. Fossum's move to Sola HK in Norway marks a return to her home country and a step towards international competition. Lena Ivancok and Iva van der Linden were previously confirmed to leave, alongside Angunn Gudmestad, Lilli Holste, and Lynn Holtman.

While the three field players didn't receive contract extensions, Fossum opted for the change, citing a desire to rejoin the Norwegian handball scene. Neckarsulm's coaching staff is now focused on strengthening the goalkeeping position, with Barbara Györi, arriving from Zwickau, expected to partner with a new player in the coming days.

“Our priority in planning for the new season is always to optimize and improve the squad,” explained Neckarsulm head coach Thomas Zeitz. “A left-handed player for the right back position with international experience was an important component. We’ve secured Sina Ehmann, a talented regional player, who will add value with her versatile game and strong one-on-one skills.
