Goalkeeper dominik plaue hangs up his gloves for coaching

German goalkeeper Dominik Plaue is retiring from professional handball to take up coaching, with his first role as a goalkeeping trainer at Regionalliga Nordrhein side HSG Am Hallo Essen.

Plaue leaves tusem essen after 30 years

After announcing in April that he would be ending his playing career with TUSEM Essen this summer, the 30-year-old has found a new role within the sport. Despite not continuing with his current club, Plaue will remain in his adopted hometown of Essen.
