Getafe to face tottenham in pre-season clash

La Liga side Getafe has confirmed a third friendly match ahead of the new season, and it's a big one – a showdown with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Madrid-based club will travel to London to face Roberto De Zerbi's Spurs at the Enfield Training Centre on August 8 at 4pm local time. This comes in addition to previously announced friendlies against Tenerife and Real Valladolid.

For Getafe, the Tottenham encounter represents a chance to test their mettle against a Premier League outfit that narrowly avoided relegation last term but remains an attractive opponent for pre-season preparation.
