Cavaliers stage thrilling comeback, tie series 2-2

Mitchell's 39 points in second half sets new mark

In the Rocket Mortgage Arena, Mitchell dominated the second half, pouring in 39 points to tie the NBA record for most in a half set by Eric Floyd of the Golden State Warriors in 1987. The 29-year-old star accounted for 43 points overall, a huge contribution to the Cavs' upset.

Down by 13 at halftime, Cleveland roared back with a 24-0 run in the third quarter to take a 74-56 lead. Mitchell's teammates, including Dennis Schröder and James Harden, also stepped up with key plays.
