Aprilia's dominance: bezzecchi wins again as motogp leader

Marc Marquez may have been the last MotoGP rider to conquer the Texas Tumbleweed of Austin, but Marco Bezzecchi is the one currently leading the pack. With his Sunday victory at the Americas GP, the Italian has now won three straight races, a feat that leaves his rivals in the dust.

Bezzecchi's three-peat: ducati's struggles continue

It's not just the three wins this season that have propelled Bezzecchi to the top of the standings. Add to that his two victories from last year, and the 72 has now strung together an impressive streak of triumphs. As the points leader with 81, he holds a mere four-point advantage over Jorge Martin, who has also shown his mettle with another strong performance.

For Ducati, the struggles continue. Martin's runner-up finish was their best result of the weekend, but they still find themselves fourth in the constructors' standings. Aleix Espargaro and Francesco Bagnaia, their top riders, failed to crack the top five, leaving them with plenty of work to do to regain their form.

Behind the top two in points, the gap widens quickly. Pedro Acosta sits in third, 21 points adrift, while Fabio Di Giannantonio trails by 31, a reminder that the MotoGP season is far from over and much can change before the checkered flag falls on the final race.
