Italy's paris wins world cup super-g as switzerland struggles
Italy's Dominik Paris claimed victory in the men's Super-G at the World Cup finale, while Switzerland's hopes of a podium finish were dashed.

Paris dominance seals the win
Starting 13th, Paris had luck on his side and was consistent throughout the course, finishing 0.7 seconds ahead of Austria's Vincent Kriechmayr. His decisive move came in the third sector, where he posted the fastest time.
Raphael Haaser, Kriechmayr's teammate, took the bronze medal, 0.38 seconds behind Paris. Alexis Monney was the best Swiss performer, 0.66 seconds adrift, for a fourth-place finish.
Stefan Rogentin also had a solid run, finishing sixth. It was the first time this season that a Swiss athlete failed to secure a podium spot in a speed event.
