Celtics thwart thunder's 12-game win streak, jaylen brown and jayson tatum power victory

In a thrilling contest at TD Garden, the Boston Celtics snapped their own 3-game skid and Oklahoma City Thunder's 12-game winning streak, 119-109.

Brilliant brown and tatum lead the way

Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were the catalysts for the Celtics, with Brown pouring in 14 of his 31 points in the pivotal third quarter. Tatum, meanwhile, continued his impressive form with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.

Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla lauded the impact of rookie Hugo Gonzalez and Baylor Scheierman off the bench, praising their defensive prowess and scoring contributions. Gonzalez in particular made his presence felt, blocking a key shot by Alex Caruso and adding 3 points and a rebound in his 9 minutes of action.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who had been on a tear, still managed 33 points for the Thunder, but it wasn't enough to extend their win streak. Gilgeous-Alexander's 65th consecutive game with at least 20 points away from home is a remarkable feat.
